THE NORTHWEST QUILTING EXPO was held at the Portland Expo Center on September 26th, 27th & 28th, 2019.
This was the first time I had ever entered a quilt in a show after quilting for 30+ years. It was an honor to be included with such masters in the quilting world. I was humbled to my core.
Over the three days it was held, I shot hundreds of photos and hours of time lapse footage to complete this 10 1/2 minute video of the event.
While I do understand this one minute title sequence isn’t going to be everyone’s cup o’ tea . . . I thought it would be the best way to showcase nearly everyone that was involved in the event. It was also a self-indulgent experiment. It is my sincere tribute and homage to filmmaker Gaspar Noe and title designer Tom Kan from the film “Enter The Void”. It’s always been something that’s excited me and was eager to emulate in an act of total admiration.
Your video was a work of art in itself. so beautiful to watch. Well done!
